Isma Romero

Isma Romero (11/07/1992) was born in Valencia. At the age of 10 he started playing the guitar. At the age of 15 he made his first compositions and created his first group: Piso 16. They played in more than 100 venues throughout Spain in less than 3 years, recorded an EP and shot a video clip.

In 2012 he left for Madrid and began a new stage alone.

In 2013 he recorded his first album, Before it is prohibited (2014, Warner Music), produced by Candy Caramelo (Andrés Calamaro, Fito&Fitipaldis and Ariel Rot) and José Nortes in the mixing and mastering. He releases his first single, Gotas suicidas and the album enters the sales list; He shoots a video clip with the film director Fernando Ronchese that features the participation of Arancha Martí, a revelation actress that year. During 2014 and 2015 he performed concerts throughout the country and ended the tour in Madrid, a city where the sold-out poster hung in the legendary Sol hall, earning the respect of critics and the public, proclaimed to be “The next generation of rock.” Spanish”.

Their second album: Luminiscencia’ (Warner Music, 2017) was produced by Nigel Walker (Bob Dylan, Tom petty, Mick Jagger) and mastered by León Zervos (Aerosmith, AC/DC…) in Sydney (Australia). The first single ‘Carlota’, in just two weeks, reaches 50,000 views on Spotify and enters the lists of the top 50 most viral songs in Spain. The album also enters the sales list in Spain.

En 2012 se marcha a Madrid e inicia una nueva etapa en solitario.

En 2013 graba su primer álbum, Antes de que esté prohibido (2014,Warner Music), producido por Candy Caramelo (Andrés Calamaro, Fito&Fitipaldis y Ariel Rot) y José Nortes en las mezclas y la masterización. Lanza su primer single, Gotas suicidas y el disco entra en la lista de ventas; rueda un videoclip con el director de cine Fernando Ronchese que cuenta con la participación de Arancha Martí, actriz revelación en ese año. Durante 2014 y 2015 realiza conciertos por todo el país y termina la gira en Madrid, ciudad en la que cuelga el cartel de entradas agotadas en la mítica sala Sol ganándose el respeto de la crítica y el público proclamado a ser “El relevo generación del rock español”.

Su segundo disco: Luminiscencia’ (Warner Music, 2017) fue producido por Nigel Walker (Bob Dylan, Tom petty, Mick Jagger) y masterizado por León Zervos (Aerosmith, AC/DC…) en Sidney (Australia) . El primer single ‘Carlota’, en apenas dos semanas alcanza las 50.000 reproducciones en Spotify y entra en las listas de las 50 canciones top más virales de España. El disco entra también en la lista de ventas en España.
